Sound Alert

Sound Alert is a mobile application that alerts the user to sounds in the environment around them that revolve around safety, security, and comfort. This app is designed to be used by individuals who are deaf or hard of hearing. The app functions by picking up sounds using the smart devices microphone then notifying through on screen notifications, vibrations, and flashing lights on the users smart device. 

The sounds are found as pre-installed (such as smoke alarms and carbon monoxide alarms), customizable to specifc sounds (such as doorbells, alarms, intercoms), and compatible alert products. The user can choose how to receive notifications three ways, vibrations, flashing light, and smart watch notification. The user can program the app to listen for up to 10 sounds.
