TV Louder is an iPhone app that allows individuals who are hard of hearing increase the sound of their TV without turning the TV volume way up. Once the TV has been set to a standard listening volume, the user can select the preferred volume level on his or her iPhone. The iPhone’s microphone will pick up the TV sounds, amplify them, and then play them back to the user through wired headphones or earbuds.

This app is not intended to amplify phone conversations, and it will not work if the TV volume is turned down too low. TV Louder is not for use with bluetooth devices - it requires wired headphones or earbuds.
