Carbon Core Wx 2.5

Carbon Core WX 2.5 is a lightweight wheelchair wheel option. It is designed to reduce linear momentum and reduce rotational inertia. The thermoplastic resin and Kevlar/carbon fibers work together to dampen road vibration. The wheelchair spokes are designed to maintain lateral stiffness and firm responsiveness, these composite spokes absorb some of the road "buzz", for greater comfort and control. There is a special thermoplastic carbon fiber composite material for the hub shell. It has strength matching that of aerospace aluminum, but is 45% lighter. Lighter wheels provide: reduced effort in each push, greater responsiveness, reduced injury and increased portability. SIZES: Available in 24” (540mm) or 25” (559mm).
