Voxgift Winston

Voxgift Winston is a voice output direct selection communicator program designed for use by individuals with cognitive, communication, learning, or speech disabilities or autism. This application (or “app”) enables an Apple iPhone, iPod Touch, iPad, or Android phone or tablet computer to function as an alternative and augmentative communication (AAC) system for people who cannot speak or have difficulty speaking. Voxgift Winston can be used to communicate health treatment needs visually and audibly with family members and healthcare providers. The user taps a button to select from a library of pre-defined phrases that are common and specific to a treatment location such as in an intensive care unit (ICU) or a dentist’s office. The user can also build requests from sentence fragments or via a keyboard with free-form entry. Available languages include English, Spanish, French, German, Chinese, Japanese and Korean. COMPATIBILITY: For use with the Apple iPhone, iPod Touch, iPad, or a mobile phone or tablet using the Android operating system. SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS: Apple iOS 4.2 or later; Android 2.1 or later.
